Working with Saskia has been a very rewarding part of my acting journey so far. We’ve been having regular lessons (usually once a week) and in that time, I’ve grown a lot. Each session with her feels purposeful, enriching and full of discovery.

What I love most about Saskia is her unique balance of kindness and honesty. She’s warm, supportive and genuinely cares about helping you grow. But that doesn’t mean that she sugarcoats things. She has a remarkable eye for detail. Saskia will pick up on the smallest things – tone, phrasing, gesture, intention – and help you refine your performance until it feels authentic and layered. It’s never about forcing a certain way of doing things – instead, she guides you toward your best work, but always lets you make the final decision. That trust in the actor's intuition is something I deeply respect.

Her lessons are thoughtfully structured and thorough, yet she’s wonderfully flexible. Whether you come in with something specific to work on or need her guidance in choosing what to focus on, she meets you where you are. For example, we have worked on monologues, scenes, accents, emotional recall, script and character analysis, etc. She's incredibly accommodating to personal learning styles and goals, which makes every session feel tailored and relevant.

Another plus for me is the option to book lesson packages instead of paying each time. It gives me a sense of continuity and commitment, knowing I’m building something week by week. Plus, the fact that she’s a working actor herself is a benefit, because she has great insight about the industry!

Beyond all that, I just feel like we get along really well, which makes every session something I genuinely look forward to. I always leave feeling inspired, challenged and excited to keep going.

Saskia is a great reader for self tapes. It’s so much easier to audition with another actor reading the other lines for you, especially when you don’t have time to find someone because the tape is due then next day!
