About Sofia
Hi! I'm Sofi. I've been involved in theater my whole life. I graduated from the Center for Cinematographic Research and I'm currently continuing my training in Theater Education at Andamio 90. I've been working as a teacher for 10 years now, coordinating workshops for children, teenagers, and adults. Pedagogy is something that really resonates with me; I love teaching and I see the workshop space as a place for meeting, playing, and respecting each other, where making mistakes is part of the process (that's what rehearsals are for!). Depending on what you'd like to do, I have two different options for you to choose from: On the one hand, you can join group classes. It's a wonderful space where we start with theatrical games and improvisation to build trust and unleash creativity, and later we delve into working with the text and creating scenes. In this case, we coordinate a group and a room, and that's where we meet for the workshop! On the other hand, you have the option of individual classes if you prefer a more personalized process. There, we focus on the specific skills you want to develop and work directly on creating your own monologue. Or, if you prefer, we can tackle a monologue you already love and are eager to rehearse. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to come and try it out and have a good time. My goal is to share my love for theater and how much fun it is to experience it, always ensuring we enjoy the process. Choose the format that works best for you and write to me to get started.
