About Scott

I have been teaching, reading and writing in philosophy, religion & social/political history for years, with one book already published and another under contract and on the way.

Having covered everything from Intro Philosophy courses at community college -- students with zero background (and sometimes interest!) in the subject matter -- to doctoral level seminars in political history, I am the perfect tutor for any High School, College, or Graduate Student needing a quick overview of or an insightful deep-dive into these heady waters!

About the lesson

Over 10 years of teaching a philosophy, religion & social/political history makes me the perfect guide for any challenges or questions you have in these fields.

I have taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, Intros and Upper-Level, in my subject areas, so I am familiar with a wide range of resources available on the internet that will provide you with the most support.

As your tutor, I will -- conduct a brief initial Q/A "Icebreaker" to get to know you and your specific needs
-- Tailor my focus and information toward your specific needs and requests
-- Cover (1) background/context, (2) key figures/themes, and (3) contemporary relevance / application for your topic
-- Follow up with next steps and additional resources to ensure you've got further help beyond our study, should it be needed or desired.
