About Aaron
I am new at teaching electronic music but I have been producing for 7 years. I also taught private performance lessons on trumpet, piano and voice for many years. I have taught all age levels from young children to the elderly. The bulk of my students have been high and middle school age. Many have gone on to place and win in state solo and ensemble competitions.

I am a native resident of Oregon and I grew up and learned music in Portland. I began my career as a classical and jazz musician, earning a performance degree in vocal music from Portland State in 2002. I performed professionally as a symphonic and jazz trumpet player as well as a concert and solo vocalist. In addition to live performance, I have several years trumpet and vocal coaching experience. I began producing EDM 7 years ago and have released one album and I am completing another. My expertise is primarily with fl Studio, but I am comfortable with other daws such as Ableton, and willing and able to learn more. I am adept at synthesis, sequencing, mixing and mastering and I apply my years of classical and jazz experience to my own projects. My teaching method aims to build your skill in all the facets of music production comprehensively as we progress so you can start making music quickly and professionally.
