I began playing the piano at 9 years old, and it has been six years since I last took piano lessons as I grew older. It has been six years since I met my teacher. My teacher is kind and valuable. I have a faint memory of turning forty and feeling like an alien, and I recommend that my young child receive piano lessons from a teacher who assists my instructor.
