About Krisana
I am classically trained with over 10 years of piano lessons myself. At 18, I outgrew my grand piano. Although the option to pursue piano performance at the collegiate level was available to me, I decided to study and expand my learning in other professional areas. I graduated with a double bachelors in neuroscience and human development and then completed a double masters in public policy and public health. I have a passion for music and teaching, and teaching piano lessons give me great joy outside of my professional and personal life.

I teach beginners with hands on (pun intended) piano training and teaching. I start with proper physical form and posture, and then move to rhythm, counting, and reading notes and music. These lessons are best for beginners.
Intermediate learners will develop and refine the methods for strong, proper and effective practice and expand their knowledge of piano repertoire. They will also further their understanding and application of piano technique, e.g., scales, arpeggios in basic and modified keys, as well as growth in ear training, and physical stamina.
