About Akruti

I have been teaching piano since 2010 and have taught students from 4 years to 85 years of age. I love teaching all age groups and students of all levels. I have worked in a reputed institute as a teacher, manager and trainer and have now have my own Music Studio called The Music Measure Studio I incorporate games and fun ways of learning within the classroom to help students understand difficult concepts with much ease. I also write online content that will be beneficial for music teachers and students using my experience and knowledge.

About the lesson

We listen before we speak, speak before we read and read before we write. This is the thought I keep in mind while teaching Piano as well. The student should listen to music, be comfortable playing the keys and then start to read and play it.

Alongside an overall development, I prepare students for examinations as well keeping in mind that examinations are a product of our learning and not the learning itself.

The classes are once a week for 45 mins.
