About Jordan
About Me: A Pianist Passionate About Music and Teaching
My name is Jordan Alexander, and I’m a professional pianist with a career focused on both performance and teaching. From a young age, music has been my passion, and this passion has grown into a solid career, leading me to participate in international competitions, social impact programs, and accompaniment.
Why Did I Start Teaching?
My desire to teach came naturally over the years. After many years of dedicating myself to piano studies, I realized how challenging the learning process can be, but also how incredibly rewarding it is. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share not just my technique and knowledge but also the love for music that I’ve developed over time.
Teaching allows me to watch my students progress, and seeing them grow as musicians is one of the greatest rewards of my career. I believe that, with the right approach, anyone can achieve their musical goals, no matter where they start from.
My Experience Led Me Here
Throughout my journey, I have participated in numerous programs and concerts, which has given me a practical and realistic perspective on a musician’s life. Additionally, I have had the honor of winning awards and being invited for interviews related to my musical achievements.
More than titles or awards, what drives me is the dedication to the learning process and the belief that music transforms lives. My mission as a teacher is to help each student discover their potential and develop their skills at the piano, always respecting their pace and style.

Methodology: How My Lessons Work
As a professional pianist with extensive experience in performance and accompaniment, I offer piano lessons that are fully tailored to each student's needs and goals. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student, my focus is on ensuring that you learn in an effective, enjoyable, and progressive manner.
How Do My Lessons Work?
Initial assessment: In the first few lessons, I assess your current level, goals, and musical preferences. This helps me create a personalized teaching plan for you.
Diverse repertoire: We work with a wide range of repertoire, from classical to contemporary, including styles like Baroque, Romantic, Brazilian music, and more. For advanced students, I also offer preparation for competitions, master's exams, and accompaniment.
Technique and musicality: Lessons include technical development such as posture, control, and agility, as well as musicality improvement, focusing on interpretation, expression, and style.
Dynamic and practical methodology: We alternate between theory and practice, ensuring the student understands what they're playing, with a focus on holistic musical development.
Continuous feedback: Throughout the process, you will receive constructive feedback to improve your performance, along with tips for efficient and organized practice.

Tive a honra de ser aluno do Jordan por quase 3 anos, mesmo sem nunca ter tido contato com nenhum instrumento ou partitura, consegui ir do zero a chopin em em menos 2 anos, embora eu tenha inciado com 37 anos as aulas e achasse que não tinha jeito para o piano devido à minha carreira nas lutas e musculação. Ele faz milagres. Hoje leio qualquer partitura.
